You're finished!! Here are my two finished goldfish. Keep in mind you can also make these in any color, or size, just adjust the amount of rows or even use a bigger knitting machine for a larger fish.

I thought I had used another pattern for these and when I went to look for it to share today, I realized I had just made it up as I went along because I didn't like the ones that were out there already. I know there are many, many free scrubby patterns out there, so if you don't like this one, please feel free to search around until you find one that suits you!
Personally, I believe that using whatever tools that are at your disposal and make your crafting easier are perfectly fine. I mean, I don't see anyone telling a quilter that it's cheating to use a sewing machine to sew together all the pieces to a quilt top, nor do I see anyone saying that using a microwave to melt butter or toppings makes a cook a cheat. Use what helps you craft!! My example in the photo above was a gift I needed for a family that was moving to Oregon and they were going to be working at Oregon State. Of course they needed new team gear, so I used my Addi King to create a set in a couple of days so it could be gifted before they left. Small hats for the children, Adult hat for the husband, and ear warmers for the wife. Do I feel bad for using the knitting machine? Of course not. Craft smarter, not harder. Why make things harder for yourself when you have tools at your disposal to use? Is it still considered Hand-crafted? Yes of course. Hand knit, no but definitely hand crafted. For the examples above, I used Big Twist Value yarn from Joann's in the colors, Black, White and Varsity Orange. I hope everyone has a great rest of the week, and be kind to each other!
